ASKING YOUR PRAYERS FOR A FRIEND

TINA - AKA MOTORCYCLE MAMA

On Friday I received news that a long-time friend, Tina, went into the hospital thinking she had appendicitis and was instead given a diagnosis of Stage 4 colon cancer which had already metastasized to her liver and lymph nodes. How could this be? Tina is a 40-something young, vibrant, active woman with grown children and grandchildren. Her husband said she had no previous symptoms - at least none that had been apparent. All who know Tina are shocked and feeling very helpless right now. Even though I was brought up to never question God's plans for us, tonight I'm asking "why?", along with Tina's family and friends. We're human. We want to know the reasons behind things like this, but I'm sure there are no answers we would be able to fully accept.
