My own thoughts on that theme:

If you can't save all animals, then just save one.

If you can't be all things to all people, then just be everything to one person.

If you can't do everything, then just do one thing, but do it well.

If you can't give much, then just give SOMEthing.

If you can't read all the books you have, then just read one and share the others.

If you can't live where you love, then just learn to love where you live.
